"Feeling stronger, fitter and more body confident"
Being self-conscious about how I look, attending group classes was outside my comfort zone, but at the time, I needed an excuse to leave work on time and do something for me, to help de-stress and maintain my physical and mental wellbeing.
Paul and his team are approachable, friendly and live to motivate and enhance people's quality of life through various classes and coaching. I was new to boxing, but loved feeling energised afterwards and learning something new. Paul varies the classes so you don't get bored and because everyone's friendly, it's creates a fun environment for you to develop your pad/boxing techniques or strength training; there's opportunities to meet socially too.
I've met some of the most inspiring women at Strictly Boxing and after nearly 3years, I still don't get the same workout anywhere else, feeling stronger, fitter and more body confident. We're all different ages, shapes and ability - theres no egos or no mirrors! Give it a go and we'll welcome you in.

"Who knew, working hard and having a laugh would go together"
By far one of the best decisions I've made in a while was joining these boxing classes with Paul's crew in Garston. At the time, heading into winter, I knew I didn't want to spend the dark nights sitting on the couch watching telly and wanted to find some kind of exercise I actually enjoyed. This is it! Don't get me wrong, I still have to talk myself into going, I'm not an exercise lover! But the second I get there I forget all that and actually work harder than I ever have but also have an absolute laugh too. Who knew the two could together!? I like that there's instruction, guidance and support from Paul and the whole group, I like that it's so friendly and there are no egos. I feel myself getting fitter and I think the weight sessions offered too are also a revelation as I didn't have any experience of this kind of training at all. Can highly recommend and so glad that I joined.
